Diploma. Psychodynamic Counselling reg.BACP
I trained at Birkbeck University and at Highgate Counselling Centre. I have been practising for over 6 years. I am an accredited member of the BACP and abide by their ethical framework/guidelines. I work with clients from varying backgrounds and ethnicities. I welcome people from all walks of life and have experience on a wide range of issues.
MY PHILOSOPHY
I will help you to look at your patterns of relating that you feel are limiting or holding you back. Some of the issues I can help with are anxiety, substance misuse, depression, relationships, work-stress, self-esteem, bereavement, trauma, abuse and gender identity. I am also kink aware/positive. I provide a safe space where you can explore your thoughts and feelings without any judgement. I offer both long and short term therapy. Through my work I promote autonomy and I do not make decisions for my clients. Therapy is not a place where feelings get fixed but rather understood, explored and managed.
